07:01 pm - Advent and such I am doing very much better today. Made it into work, got some things done, don't have to go back until Jan 4 (hooray for vacation!). My friend Carissa will be here for Christmas (yay!). Christmas Eve will be much wrapping of presents (haven't done that, except for those in packages which I mailed off today), and of course the Christmas Eve service at my church (which is always lovely and candlelit with gorgeous flowers), and possibly our traditional evening of driving around looking at Christmas lights. The second day of Christmas (which is Saturday, I really do think in terms of the Twelve Days of Christmas lately, and I plan to adopt that tradition), my aunt and uncle are coming down with my little cousins, as is Joel. It will be good, if somewhat full, and it will be the sort of extended family Christmas. I don't plan to be online, much, though, so in case I'm not, a very merry Christmas to one and all.

09:42 pm I'm sick. Prolly the flu. Meh. I'm still achey, but at least not feeling as grumpy. Spent today sleeping at watching various and sundry things (caught up on Dollhouse, which is getting really good). Sent off my Christmas letters (my grandmother was ever so nice and took them to the post office after I didn't get them to the mailbox in time), but not packages. Said packages will be v. late. Heigh ho.
